[Not that he doesn't trust Ignis to figure that out on his own, but it's worth having someone keep an eye on him.]

[It's a foolish thing to ask, when the similarities between them mean he knows full well that Nick will worry, but he prefers to make the offer regardless.]
[Ignis tells him not to worry, but Nick knows better. It's what he does, especially with the Guard. It's a thankless job, and they so often put their lives on the line for people, watching out for others -- someone has to look out for them.]
He doesn't want to go into detail, not really, and not now when this entire ordeal already has him feeling so helpless, but he does at least owe Nick a little honesty. The respect he has for him demands that.]
Kate's been checking in with me when she can. And Noctis.
[But he hasn't been telling them how bad it's getting. He doesn't want them to worry.]
[Nick nods on his end, knowing good and well that Ignis keeps more to himself than he should, but appreciating what honesty he's getting, even if he had to prod the man for it.]
